Manly-Lota RSL Sub-Branch builds camaraderie through events that create connection across our membership. We work hard to ensure we are a place where all veterans are welcome regardless of their type of service or generation. We are here to support each other as we share the common bond of service.
Public EventsEach year the Sub-Branch invites the public to participate in commemorative events including:
ANZAC Day 25th April Begins with a 4:15am Dawn Service in Richard Russell Park followed by a gunfire breakfast with the community. Then at 8:00am there is a family friendly service including a parade involving schools and community groups. Afterwards, veterans and their families are invited to the hall for a light lunch and drinks. Vietnam Veterans Day 18th August A service to commemorate those who served during the Vietnam War. A service in the park followed by a light lunch and a chance to catch up in the hall. Remembrance Day 11th November A solemn day commemorated as the end of the First World War it is now a day used to remember all those who served. A service in the park followed by a light lunch and a chance to catch up in the hall. |

Wednesday Veterans Morning Tea
9:30am to 11:00am We welcome all local veterans to meet our members, make new friends and just chill out over a brew. Meet one of our DVA advocates and find out what other services we have available. Bring a mate and catch up. |
Friday Night Drinks
5:00pm to 7:00pm Catch up for a beer and laughs, make new friends and relax and unwind from the week. Members and guests welcome. |
Raffles Every Friday Night
at The Manly Hotel Your chance to purchase tickets to win a meat tray or Manly Hotel voucher and support the Sub-Branch and our work. |
